SHAH ALAM- Do not give up on Kelantan and Terengganu for the upcoming state elections.
This was the appeal by PKR Kelantan and Terengganu chief Nik Nazmi Nik Ahmad who urged party members to not give up easily on the two states, which are under the administration of the opposition coalition Perikatan Nasional (PN).
“For the Pakatan Harapan (PH) coalition, I can see that we are strong in urban and semi-urban areas.
“However, our challenge is to win over voters on the east coast for the upcoming state polls.
"Not only in Shah Alam and Penang, but we need to be relevant in all areas," Nazmi said in his speech at the announcement of candidates for the upcoming state polls at Padang Awam MBSA, Seksyen 7, today.
In his speech, he advised party members to not indulge in racial politics.
"Let's change the view for Kelantan and Terengganu, lets make it a tie there ," he added.
