
TUARAN: The police are tracing the next of kin of a dead man who was found hanging on a tree near a water plant here, Friday.
District Police Chief DSP Noraidin Ag Maidin said a woman noticed the body while painting the water plant's fence, not far from the scene at 12.14pm.
Following the report made by the woman, the police rushed to the scene and found a man's body in a bush area, hanging with his neck tied with a white cloth on the branch of a tree.
"The deceased is believed to be in his 40s with curly hair, tanned skin and a thin body with a height of 162 centimetres," he said.

The body is now at the Tuaran Hospital Forensic Mortuary.
