With the concern revolving around nearly RM1 million worth of MARA loan, Malaysian actress Rozita Che Wan has a lot on her plate now, but in a recent TikTok live video, she took the opportunity to deny a claim.

It was recently reported that her house in Kota Damansara, Petaling Jaya, was seized by MARA, but Rozita, commonly known as Che Ta, said that was NOT the case.

“I don’t mind if you want to talk about what’s happening to me, but it’s the defamation that I am angry about,” Che Ta said.

Che Ta also clarified that if her house was seized, she would be homeless by now.

“Where do you think I’m staying now? In my house, of course. Do you think I’m living in a tree? I would have if my house was seized, but it wasn’t.”

The Malaysian actress also urged everyone not to believe everything they read on the Internet and said that everyone had not heard any statement personally from her. As for the story from her side, Che Ta hinted about when Malaysians can expect to hear from her.

“Be patient. Wait for my statement. I’m just waiting for the right time.”

“As for what you’ve read, some are true, but some are merely hoaxes.”

MARA recently revealed that Che Ta and her son have not settled the RM960,000 loan, and the chairman has urged the family to come forward to discuss the restructuring of the payment.

Che Ta’s husband, Zain Saidin, who has been quiet, also broke the silence and denied that he has been sitting still without doing anything.

“I’m not sitting at home doing nothing. I have my online perfume business to make money. It’s not like what others claimed where I am pretending nothing has happened.”

Regardless, we hope Che Ta and her family will be able to resolve the ongoing financial crisis.
