• Actor Tom Chadbon, known for his roles in Doctor Who and Peep Show, has died aged 80.

• Chadbon played the detective Duggan in the 1979 Doctor Who serial “City of Death” and later returned as Merdeen in “The Trial of the Time Lord”.
• His other notable television credits include Martin in the Channel 4 sitcom Peep Show and High Septon Maynard in the seventh season of Game of Thrones.
• On film, Chadbon appeared in the 2006 James Bond movie Casino Royale as a stockbroker.
