Ander Herrera has signed permanently for Athletic Bilbao.
Herrera had been on-loan at Athletic from PSG, but was signed permanently by the Basque club on Tuesday.
He said, "For me it is not news. When I came I already knew that I would be there for two years. I understand that this official status will have been a bureaucratic issue.
"From the day I came to Bilbao I already knew how long I was going to be at Athletic and the contract I was going to have. Then the issue between clubs is something that is not my responsibility.
"I already had defined all personal terms of operation from the day I signed in the summer."
