Aston Villa have announced the signing of Jan Bednarek from Southampton on a season-long loan.
The Poland international has played 152 times for the Saints.
Villa were desperate for defensive reinforcements after a serious injury to summer signing Diego Carlos.
Bednarek, 26, has featured twice for Southampton this season.
