Atletico Madrid have signed Rapid Bucharest goalkeeper Horatiu Moldovan.
Moldovan signs with Atltico for the next three and a half years. He arrives from Rapid Bucharest for a fee of less than one million euros (800,000).
He said before arriving in Madrid yesterday: When I saw things moving forward I said this is the opportunity of a lifetime. Do you think you can say no to Atltico de Madrid? Maybe this train will never pass again.
"I will work and, when my opportunity comes, I hope to prove myself. Soccer is beautiful and unpredictable. Four years ago I didn't have a team in League 2 and now I am very close to signing for Atltico de Madrid.
"It's something from science fiction!"
He added, "It is a dream come true. It will be the biggest competition of my career. (Jan) Oblak is probably the best goalkeeper in the world."
