Borussia Monchengladbach have completed the signing of Manchester City defender Ko Itakura.
After last season's loan with Schalke, Itakura has signed permanently with Gladbach.
The Japan international has committed to Gladbach to 2026.
"He had several attractive options," said the club's sports director Roland Virkus.
"That is why we are also happy that he is convinced of us, because he is an important part of our plans."
