Chelsea are set to finalise the signing of Alex Matos from Norwich City in the summer.
The Blues are eager to add the 18-year-old to their under-21s side in the coming weeks.
Per transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano, Matos will sign on a free transfer from Norwich.
He has been with the Canaries since 2016, mostly playing for the club in Premier League 2 and the Under-18s Premier League.
"I'm a forward who can play anywhere in the front line," Matos said of his game last year.
"My pace is probably my best attribute, getting into the box and creating chances, it's a big part of my game."
