Everton have announced Ishe Samuels-Smith has left for Chelsea.
The teenage defender, 17, has decided to sign pro terms with Chelsea ahead of Everton.
Samuels-Smith is highly-rated at Everton, but he will now pursue his career in London.
The Liverpool Echo says Everton will receive 4m from Chelsea in compensation for his departure.
Samuels-Smith joined Everton aged nine and despite his young age was a regular in Paul Tait's Under-21s last season.
