Former Arsenal goalkeeper Matt Macey has signed with Luton Town.

Macey spent nearly eight years in north London before moving to Hibernian last January.

The 27-year-old has now returned to England with Championship outfit Luton, where he enjoyed a brief loan spell in 2017.

He said after signing: "I came into a team that was winning, in and around the play-offs in good form.

"Coming into a team environment like that, it is quite easy to go with the rhythm of it and I think we managed to hold that play-off position throughout my time here, and then obviously you guys went into the play-offs at the end of the season.

"I just remember having some of the best 10 weeks in my career in terms of the enjoyment and the culture that was starting to build at the club here. That was one of the main things that made me want to come back."
