Girona have snapped up Manchester City midfielder Yangel Herrera.

Herrera has moved to the Primera Division new-boys on a season-long loan.

The midfielder had been training with Girona this week ahead of the deal being rubberstamped.

Herrera spent last season on-loan with Espanyol, while he's had time away with Granada and Huesca.

Along with Herrera, Girona have signed Iván Martín, 'Taty' Castellanos, Yan Couto, Rodrigo Riquelme and Yangel Herrera.
