Yangel Herrera has cut ties with Manchester City - sort of.
The midfielder has come off contract at City and signed permanently with Girona.
Herrera has penned a four-year contract with Girona, having spent last season on-loan with the Catalans.
He made 20 appearances, scoring twice and made two assists during the loan.
Girona are owned by Manchester City's umbrella company City Football Group.
