Manchester City have clinched the signing of Hamburg SV teen Farid Alfa-Ruprecht.
The 16 year-old winger chose to sign for City ahead of offers from Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Alfa-Ruprecht will be initially registered to City's U18 squad.
Italian transfer expert Fabrizio Romano stated: "Manchester City have completed the signing of German U17 international Farid Alfa-Ruprecht [born in 2006] beating Chelsea and Bayern Munich also interested.
"Farid signed within this window and he's U-18 player, regarded as one for the future internally at Man City."
