Newcastle United starlet Niall Brookwell has joined Vanarama National League North side Darlington on loan.
The 20-year-old, who has been a captain for the club's Under-21s, will be hoping to get regular first team action.
Darlington are in a solid position in the National League North, from which they are hoping to gain promotion.
Brookwell can play in both defense and midfield, with his versatility seen as an asset.
He has been with the Magpies since arriving from Liverpool in 2020.
