The son of Bayern Munich sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic has left for Vancouver Whitecaps.
Bayern midfielder Nick Salihamidzic has joined the Whitecaps on a season-long loan.
Salihamidzic Jr, 19, has been playing with Bayern II and has a deal to 2025.
"Part of our goal with Whitecaps FC 2 is to help develop players in a competitive environment and get them to reach their potential.
"Nick has been part of a really strong environment in Bayern Munich, and we look forward to working with him," said Whitecaps president Axel Schuster.
