Aston Villa have announced that Morgan Sanson has joined Strasbourg on loan until the end of the season.
The midfielder, who signed for Villa from Olympique Marseille in January 2021, heads back to his native France for the remainder of the 2022/23 campaign.
Sanson made three appearances in claret and blue this season.
He scored his first Villa goal earlier this month against Stevenage in the FA Cup.
Former Villa teammate Frederic Guilbert signed for Strasbourg last week.
