DoubleDragon tops off Hotel101-Libis in QC

DOUBLEDRAGON Corp. on Friday topped off its 702-room Hotel101-Libis project in Quezon City, marking the completion of the building’s structural works.

The topping-off ceremony was held at the Robinsons Bridgetowne Estate where the hotel is being developed near the Opus Mall.

Once completed, Hotel101-Libis will have 702 rooms, making it the largest hotel in Quezon City by room inventory.

The project forms part of Hotel101 Global’s expansion program, which aims to build 50,000 standardized hotel rooms in the Philippines and one million hotel rooms across 100 countries.

DoubleDragon said 2026 was expected to be its biggest year for hotel openings, with 2,229 additional rooms scheduled to begin operations.

These include the 680-room Hotel101-Madrid in Spain, which opened in March; the 519-room Hotel101-Davao, set to open on July 30; the 548-room Hotel101-Cebu; and the 482-room Hotel101-Niseko in Hokkaido, Japan, targeted to open before the year-end.

The company said Hotel101-Manila and Hotel101-Fort were continuing to post high occupancy rates while Hotel101-Madrid had begun generating recurring revenues from overseas operations.

DoubleDragon said the expansion of its hospitality portfolio was expected to contribute to higher recurring revenues this year, alongside income from its community malls, industrial warehouses and office leasing businesses.

The company added that Hotel101 Global remained focused on expanding its international footprint after becoming the first Filipino hotel brand to operate overseas.

DoubleDragon shares rose P0.10, or 0.89 percent, to close at P11.30 each on Friday.
