Dozens of brand-new vehicles were left submerged in muddy floodwaters after heavy rain inundated a car storage facility in Subang.

SUBANG JAYA: Dozens of new vehicles were reportedly inundated by floodwaters after heavy rain hit a vehicle storage facility in Subang this afternoon.

The incident attracted widespread attention on social media, with photographs circulating online showing rows of new cars surrounded by floodwaters.

The images showed muddy water covering much of the storage area, with the water level reaching the doors of some vehicles.

The photographs prompted an outpouring of reactions from social media users, many of whom expressed shock at the sight of the vehicles being affected by the flooding.

However, the exact number of vehicles involved and the extent of the damage have yet to be confirmed.

The incident occurred as heavy rain triggered flash floods in several locations across Subang and other parts of the Klang Valley.

Several areas around Kampung Subang were also affected, with floodwaters inundating roads and residential properties.

Some social media users described the latest flooding as more severe than previous incidents in the area.

Separately, vehicles were also reportedly damaged by falling trees amid the adverse weather conditions.
