KUALA LUMPUR - Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been discharged out of the National Heart Institute (IJN) at 9.30am today.
His office, in a statement said that Dr Mahathir would continue to be quarantined at home until this Tuesday (Sept 6).
The statement, which was posted on the former premiere’s official Facebook page had garnered many reactions with many expressed gratitude for his recovery and prayed for his well-being.
Dr Mahathir was previously admitted to IJN for to be monitored for several days days as advised by the health team after he had tested positive for Covid-19 on 31 August.
