SHAH ALAM - Former Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has been discharged from the National Heart Institute (IJN), Kuala Lumpur, after four days in the hospital.
"Yes, (Dr) Mahathir has been discharged from the hospital after four days of receiving treatment," a source told AFP.
On Tuesday, Dr Mahathir was admitted and treated at IJN for an infection.
Dr Mahathir's office shared two photos on Thursday showing the Malay Proclamation Chairman in a stable condition.
Earlier, a viral post on social media claimed that Dr Mahathir was in critical condition and undergoing treatment at the IJN.
