Kota Kinabalu: Parti Gagasan Rakyat Sabah (Gagasan Rakyat) warned Parti Warisan not to drag Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor into the mud over allegations that Warisan Sepanggar was funded by an alleged drug cartel.

Gagasan Rakyat Kiulu Chief Janih Bagud said Warisan Sepanggar Chief Datuk Mohd Azis Jamman’s statement was “ridiculous and mischievous” in insinuating that the police report lodged by Gerakan Kuasa Rakyat (G57) Chairman Datuk Zulkarnain Mahdar was linked to Hajiji or his supporters.

“Zulkarnain is an Umno member. Warisan and Umno are now buddies and contemplating to join hands in the next State election. So what has the action of Zulkarnain got do with Hajiji?” he said.

Azis had said he thinks Zulkarnain’s recent action is politically motivated because the timing was just right after Hajiji was criticised in social media following his remarks in the recent State Assembly sitting.
