
SANDAKAN: A 47-year-old man was sentenced to seven years’ jail and ordered to get three strokes of the cane for repeatedly taking syabu.
Sessions Court Judge Zaini Fishir @ Fisal meted out the sentence to Mahathir Nasrin who pleaded guilty to the charge against him.
Mahathir was found taking the drug at 1.10pm on June 10 this year and tested positive for drug at the police station here.
He has similar conviction records.
