- Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, supported her daughter, Lady Louise Windsor, at a carriage-driving competition over the weekend.
- Sophie, 61, was seen alongside Louise, 22, at the Windsor Great Park event.
- Louise inherited her love of carriage driving from her grandfather, Prince Philip, who left her his carriage and horses when he died in 2021.
- “The Duke of Edinburgh has been so involved in my driving, which has been so lovely, although slightly scary because he invented the sport pretty much. It’s incredible to have learned first-hand from him,” she said of Philip in a documentary after his death.
- Louise graduated from St Andrews in July and is now on a gap year, working, volunteering, and travelling before exploring future career paths.
