
SANDAKAN: The Duchess of Kent Hospital (HDOK) is looking for the family members of a patient known as Abdul (pic) who has been abandoned at the hospital’s psychiatric ward since May 18.
HDOK Director Dr Mohd Fahmie Othman said throughout the patient’s stay no one had come to visit or care for him.
“This patient is also unable to provide information about himself or his family members.
“The patient only remembers that he lives in Kampung Sundang Laut with his uncle named Tahar,” Dr Mohd Fahmie said in a statement on Thursday.
