MANILA, Philippines—Duty Free Philippines (DFPC) opened its newest store at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 on February 19, 2026, marking a significant step in its modernization strategy.
Located between Bays 6 and 7 of the terminal's arrival area, the new outlet aims to uphold the long-standing Filipino travel tradition of “pasalubong” shopping.
"Duty Free Philippines has always been part of the Filipino homecoming story," the DFPC said. "With this new Terminal 3 store, we are ensuring that the joy of choosing pasalubong - even at the last minute - remains part of that shared airport experience."
The outlet offers a specialized assortment of luxury goods - including wines, spirits, and imported chocolates - while maintaining the rigorous quality benchmarks that have defined DFPC for decades.
Beyond the product categories themselves, the offerings are distinct from those typically found in the domestic market. The store features travel retail exclusives, specially bundled sets, and a wide range of gift-with-purchase promotions not usually available in regular grocery chains.
By bringing these exclusive selections closer to the public, DFPC strengthens its presence in one of the country's busiest gateways while staying true to its core identity as a trusted source of authentic, imported goods. The new Duty Free Philippines Terminal 3 store opening was led by DFPC chief Operating Officer Patrick Joel M. Chico, together with Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Operations Richard S. Clarin, Deputy Chief Operating Officer for Finance and Administration Leofredo J. Martinez, and Marketing Head Jake B. Liwanag.
New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC) Deputy Head for Commercial Aileen Tan welcomed the opening.
"We are proud and happy that DFPC is part of NNIC's modernization journey," Tan said, adding that the organization looks forward to strengthening the partnership and pursuing more collaborations in the future.
