Chelsea legend Ashley Cole has been relishing his time with the team on their tour of Asia.
The Blues are spending some time in the continent during pre-season, with former left back Cole joining them in Japan.
He has been with the squad as an ambassador, meeting fans and mingling with the first team.
"It's good being back in the Chelsea family," he said about his new role to the club's official website.
"I'm buzzing to see Lamps get the job. To be around the guys has been great, and it's nice to see Mason and Fikayo involved having played with them at Derby last year.
"We have been reminiscing a bit, with Petr too, and it's been a really good trip. I've been calling Lamps the gaffer, it's only a couple of months since he was my boss but to me he's Lamps again now!"
