AS Monaco midfielder Hannibal Mejbri is in England today to sign with Manchester United.
Foot Mercato says Mejbri was at Carrington yesterday for a United medical.
A deal with Monaco is now expected to be settled, with the 16 year-old due to join United for 10m.
Refusing to let him leave for free, ASM have held out for compensation given he had a contract to 2021.
Mejbri's dad, former Tunisian footballer Lotfi, cited an "issue of trust" behind his efforts to cancel the contract.
