MANILA, Philippines — Filipina ace Alex Eala and Canada’s Victoria Mboko will be thrown into a tough challenge right away in the opening round of the French Open doubles event set to begin Tuesday in Paris, France.
In their first assignment, Eala and Mboko will take on the formidable duo of Leylah Fernandez and Diana Shnaider.
Before shifting her focus to doubles, Eala will first compete in the singles event, where she is set to face her friend, Iva Jovic, in the opening round. TMT
