MANILA, Philippines — Philippine tennis star Alex Eala pulled out of the French Open doubles tournament on Wednesday.
Eala was supposed to team up with Victoria Mboko and was scheduled to face Filipina-Canadian Leylah Fernandez and Russian Diana Shnaider.
The tournament website indicated that the pair withdrew. No reason was given.
Eala already exited the singles tournament after losing to former doubles partner Iva Jovic on Tuesday.
