MANILA, Philippines—The easterlies will continue to bring rain showers and thunderstorms in Visayas and Mindanao, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said Monday.
It said Eastern Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Surigao del Sur, and Davao Oriental will have isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Weather specialist Chenel Dominguez said Metro Manila and the rest of the country would likely have the same weather pattern but due to the localized thunderstorms
She added that the weather agency has not monitored any low pressure area forming inside or outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.
