- Ed Gamble, host of the aftershow Uncloaked, has addressed concerns regarding unconscious racial and cultural bias on Celebrity Traitors following the banishment of actor Myha'la.
- The debate arose after a viewer suggested Myha'la was eliminated due to racism, prompting discussion over how ethnic minority contestants are perceived on the show.
- Myha'la defended her fellow contestants, explaining that while unconscious bias exists in such games, her early departure was triggered by a playful wink at Richard E Grant.
- Gamble stated that he would not counteract anyone's lived experience, agreeing that unconscious bias is an important issue that needs to be discussed and examined.
- The discussion highlights broader concerns about how internalised social biases affect social judgements and gameplay across various reality television formats.
