Edinburgh derby clash rescheduled from Boxing Day for Sky Sports

• The upcoming Edinburgh derby between Heart of Midlothian and Hibernian has been rescheduled from Boxing Day to Sunday 27 December.
• The William Hill Premiership fixture at Tynecastle will now kick off at the revised time of 12 noon.
• The date and kick-off time change was implemented following the match being selected for live television broadcast on Sky Sports.
• The previous festive Edinburgh derby was also held on 27 December in 2025, with Hibernian beating Hearts 3-2 in their Scottish Premiership match.
• The Edinburgh teams will next face each other on 3 September at Hibernian’s home ground on Easter Road.
