SANDAKAN: Educators play a role in creating awareness on the importance of conservation among the younger generation.
Sabah Forestry Department’s Deputy Chief Forest Conservator (Research and Development) Dr. Robert Ong said conservation efforts cannot be carried out alone by the government.
According to him, environmental education and public awareness are two aspects of sustainable forest management under the Department.
