EEI Corp. said Tuesday that it had secured P1.6 billion worth of real estate construction contracts in the first two months of 2026, indicating a strong start to the year.

In a statement, the construction firm said the projects brought it closer to achieving its order book targets and strengthened a foothold in the residential and hospitality segments.

EEI President and CEO Henry Antonio said the contracts underscored the company’s continued expansion into high-growth regional markets.

“This is a positive development to start in 2026,” Antonio said.

“With these residential and hospitality projects, we push our diversified portfolio further to regional markets and expand our capabilities to build sustainable communities throughout the country,” he added.

“This will not only fuel the industry with more jobs but will also help our real estate partners build spaces that elevate the lives of people through innovation.”

Among the projects awarded to EEI were the construction of Crown Residences and Crest Suites by Torre Lorenzo Development Corp., both located within the Tierra Davao development.

Crown Residences will be a 21-story residential tower featuring 322 units, while Crest Suites — also 21 stories — is a mixed-use development composed of 16 floors of condominium-hotel units and three floors of residential condominium units with a combined 260 units.

EEI said the expanding pipeline of projects was expected to support steady financial performance this year and deepen partnerships across various sectors.

EEI’s share price fell by a centavo to close at P2.34 each on Tuesday.
