German side Eintracht Frankfurt are looking to bring Southampton defender Armel Bella-Kotchap back to the Bundesliga.
The 21-year-old German is out for the rest of the season with a hamstring problem.
While Bella-Kotchap has shown promise with the Saints, he does not appear to have much appetite for playing in the Championship next season.
German publication Bild states that Eintracht will make an offer to the Saints to secure his signature.
Frankfurt are in 9th place in the Bundesliga at present, which means they are unlikely to play European football next term.
They can offer Bella-Kotchap regular game time in a first division back in his home nation, which may appeal to him.
