Elie Saab is the latest designer in a series of haute couture collaborations for H&M, making red-carpet and high fashion accessible to everyone. Launching worldwide on October 22, the collection will feature signature designs from the iconic Lebanese Maison loved by the likes of Zendaya and Bella Hadid.

The brand took to the streets of Paris for its campaign, fronted by Egyptian-Moroccan-Dutch model Imaan Hammam. Pieces on display exude the designer’s trademark aesthetics of structure, romantic lace, intricate gradient sequins, monograms and sharp tailoring. Expect ensembles like timeless evening gowns, blazers, tops and more, as well as accessories such as earrings and footwear including towering platforms.

The collaboration marks a meeting of creative visions between Elie Saab and H&M’s Design Womenswear team, led by Creative Designer Ann-Sofie Johansson.

Speaking to the partnership, Johansson gushed, “We are thrilled to announce this landmark collaboration with ELIE SAAB. Mr Saab is a designer we have always respected – the journey from master of bridalwear in Beirut to the centre of Paris fashion is an amazing, rich story, and we are so excited to be exploring his world. Our customers can expect a magical, ornate and glamorous collection.”

The Lebanese couturier is one of the Middle East’s best-known designers, dressing A-listers for over twenty years. He first launched his eponymous label nearly four decades ago in Beirut before finding major international success, including becoming one of the first international members of France’s prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture. He also owns boutiques in Dubai and Doha.

Saab divulged that his main goal was to put haute couture within the reach of high street shoppers, explaining, “This collection is created for all who admire the world of ELIE SAAB […] I am very happy with this collaboration and with the way we worked together with the H&M team to bring the collection to life. It has been a truly collaborative and inspiring process. Each piece has been created with care and dedication, bringing together a complete wardrobe that speaks to every moment of a woman’s life.”

The Elie Saab H&M collection will land in select H&M stores worldwide and everywhere online on October 22.
