Elliot Anderson has reaffirmed hopes of staying with Newcastle United this season.
The Scotland U21 winger is part of Newcastle's senior preseason.
This season Anderson has a queue of clubs who are keen on his signature on a season long loan deal, including Sheffield Wednesday and West Bromwich Albion in the Sky Bet Championship.
But he told ChronicleLive: "I want to be here. I want to force my way into the team, but, I guess, that's the club's decision. I've just got to work as hard as I can on the pitch and see what happens.
"I have enjoyed pre-season has been really good for me, just trying to fit into the team, work on the way they play and try to impress."
