Kim Mathers, the ex-wife of rapper Eminem, pleaded no contest to charges of operating a vehicle while impaired and failure to stop after a collision.
The charges originate from a February 16 hit-and-run crash in Mount Clemens, Michigan, where she allegedly struck a parked truck while intoxicated.
By entering a no contest plea, Mathers accepts conviction for the two misdemeanor charges without formally admitting guilt.
Macomb County Prosecutor Peter Lucido highlighted the dangers of impaired driving, stating these are the maximum charges available based on the evidence.
Mathers has a history of driving under the influence incidents, including a 2015 crash she later described as a suicide attempt, and previous drug-related arrests.
