Emma Raducanu pushed through injury pain to reach the third round of the Australian Open for the first time in her career.

The 2021 US Open champion had her preparations for the tournament disrupted by a back spasm and was treated for a lower back issue during the second set.

Raducanu went on to win the second round match against American Amanda Anisimova in dogged style, taking the game in two sets.

She will now face world number 2 and five-time Grand Slam champion Iga Swiatek in the third round.
