Emmerdale star Danny Miller has spoken out about “awful” rumours surrounding his father.
The actor, who plays Aaron Dingle in the ITV soap, addressed claims that his father, Vince Miller, was dead.
Last year, Danny announced that his father was diagnosed with dementia and has since been posting regular updates on his health.
“My dad is alive,” he stressed, stating that he has received messages from family members and friends asking him about his father’s well-being.
“I’ve seen some rubbish in the past, but when it’s affecting the family personally and then affecting me indirectly, it’s just something I just had to tell.”
