Kota Kinabalu: The Gabungan Rakyat Sabah (GRS) government needs to strengthen the role of the “Chief Project Inspector” to help the Chief Minister and various ministries monitor the implementation of infrastructure that has been approved.
Parti Solidariti Tanah Airku (Star) Sabah Acting Deputy President Kapitan Stephen Teo said, the terms of reference for the function of the office in the Chief Minister’s Department should be detailed by providing a group of relevant officers.
“Recent developments show that several infrastructure projects have been approved in addition to pending issues such as Pan-Borneo and main road maintenance in various places,” he said, who is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Sabah Rubber Industry Board (LIGS).
