Fans inside Wembley Stadium paid tribute to the late Sven-Goran Eriksson ahead of England’s Uefa Nations League clash against Finland on Tuesday evening (10 September).
The popular former manager, who led the national team at three major international tournaments from 2001 to 2006, died in August at the age of 76 after suffering from pancreatic cancer.
The match against Finland was England’s first home game since his passing.
Players wore black armbands, just as they did against Ireland over the weekend, and there was a period of applause ahead of kick-off.
The deaths of Craig Shakespeare, Kevin Campbell and Tommy Banks were also acknowledged on Tuesday night.
