SELANGOR: An entrepreneurial guidance programme managed to generate RM8.7 million in sales revenue throughout 2022, said Entrepreneur Development and Cooperatives Minister Datuk Ewon Benedick.

The Institut Keusahawanan Negara Berhad (Insken) guidance programme proved that it has a positive effect and impact towards entrepreneurs, said Ewon.

"Tonight is the first graduation ceremony for the Insken Guidance Programme that I attended. I am very interested and excited to know more about the success of the programmes organised by Insken, especially the mentoring programme,” said Ewon in a statement.

“The RM3.8 million increase in sales revenue was made by entrepreneurs who participated in the programme this time with nine of them successfully changing their business status from micro to small.”

He said this in his speech during the graduation ceremony of the 2022 Insken Mentoring Programme, at Bangi Resort Hotel, yesterday.
