LAHAD DATU: A shooting competition in conjunction with media engagement held by Eastern Sabah Security Command (ESSCom) on Tuesday aims to further strengthen relationships between ESSCom and media practitioners.
ESSCom Commander, DCP Victor Sanjos, said the competition also aims at providing exposure, increasing and improving knowledge about the handling of firearms.
He said the competition, which hold in August, our national month, will also boost the spirit of patriotism and self-esteem among the participants, who will be more competitive, disciplined and skilled to contribute more to the development of our country.
“This competition may also serve as a platform for ESSCom members to practise, as training is the most important element in forming credible security personnel.
