Former Arsenal defender Stephan Lichtsteiner admits his move to FC Augsburg is something new for him.
A multi-title winner with Juventus, the 35 year-old now faces a season-long relegation battle with FCA.
"Life is made in such a way that special challenges await you," said the veteran.
"I have never done anything like Augsburg.
"I want to play regularly again. My experience should help me get used to the processes quickly. I want to be a role model, talk a lot, explain a lot.
"It's also interesting to speak German again."
