The entire incident was caught by the Electric Train Service’s (ETS) CCTV and the footage was later shared on social media by Keretapi Tanah Melayu Berhad (KTMB).

As a result of the man’s actions, the train, ETS ES9052, which was supposed to reach Ipoh at 12.16am, only arrived at 2am.

NST later reported that a report regarding the incident is currently in the works and will be submitted to Land Public Transport Agency for further action, according to KTMB Group CEO Datuk Mohd Rani Hisham Samsudin.

Meanwhile, KTM Berhad urged passengers to stay away from doing things that will disrupt train services.
