Premier League giants Everton will allow Tom Cannon to head back to Preston North End on loan this summer
The attacker was impressive for the Championship side in January, scoring eight goals in 20 games.
He was wanted by Sunderland, who are chasing promotion this coming season.
However, Cannon was happy at Preston and wanted to continue with the club for another year.
Per the Northern Echo, the two teams have come to a loan agreement for Cannon.
There is no word on whether Everton will want to include a clause to bring back the forward in January.
