Everton boss Sean Dyche was left frustrated by VAR after their 3-0 home defeat to Manchester United.
Everton did enough to put the game to bed in the first-half after Alejandro Garnacho's wonder goal in the opening minutes. But United were the better team after halftime as Marcus Rashford converted a penalty won by Anthony Martial, who then slipped in the visitors' third late on.
Dyche said: "They started the game with a worldie which put us on the back-foot
"We played well in the first half and had good chances so I was pleased at half-time.
"Then they get a penalty early on and the VAR is being made so complex. I feel for the fans and the referee stares at the screen and we know the outcome.
"The way the modern game is they say it is a penalty.
"But we see it all the time and it is what the game has become now.
"It is tough. They are top of the form guide and they are clinical, they found big moments with key passes.
"They are a good outfit but a lot of our performance was aright. We are trying to mix our play but you have to score goals.
"Chance count is high again today but we have to find that clinical edge. That can be the difference sometimes and they [Everton players] are working very hard."
On the points deduction, Dyche added: "It has been a tough 10 days to take the news, but we brush ourselves down.
"Most people think how unjust it is including our fans, myself and the football club. We have to perform and win games.
"The game didn't really settle it is a worldie and fair play to the lad [Alejandro Garnacho] but I will doubt there will be one like that next week.
"I thought we was very strong first half and thought we should have gone in level at half-time."
