Former Everton captain Leon Osman was impressed by Manchester United for Sunday's win at Goodison Park.
Everton did enough to put the game to bed in the first-half after Alejandro Garnacho's wonder goal in the opening minutes. But United were the better team after halftime as Marcus Rashford converted a penalty won by Anthony Martial, who then slipped in the visitors' third late on.
Osman later said on BBC Sport, "There's been questions over Erik ten Haag's team this season and this was going to be a huge test. A test of character, a test of nerve, a test of desire as well and they ticked every one of those boxes.
"They showed huge quality in real big moments, none more so than Alejandro Garnacho's unbelievable overhead kick for the opening goal but also the two goals that followed especially the third.
"For all of he questions that have been put to them, they've got a really good run going in the Premier League."
